weather in osaka and kyoto

Hello everybody,

I will be travelling to japan next week and acording to the weather forecast I saw on net the temperatures are as low as 8 or 9... is it really so?

Does this mean i have to carry thick jackets ... I have to travel light as I have to take charge of other things...

Does the temp rises during the noon or its the whole day low temperature thing?
Any insight wil be helpful..

Yes its that cold. In fact thats pretty mild for Japan. You will find that during spring, so long as their isn't a cold wind, its still quite pleasant. And cold winds are not common until winter.

I would bring only one heavy jacket but I think you will find a light jumper will be all you need depending how long you stay.
