Hi, I will be moving to Tokyo soon and would like to find people who are into quilting, knitting etc. Also, are there places for volunteer work? Any good book english book shops?

Stitch n bitch at The Pink Cow, Shibuya

The womens circle (whatever it is called) at the American Club will definately be your best bet regarding volunteer work and quilting etc

Kinokuniya in Shinjuku (Times Sq branch) has the best selection of english books.
