anyone familiar with booking hotels for the fuji rock fest?

recommendations for hotels will be cool.

travel tips from tokyo down to naeba is great too ;)

I don't know about the rock festival but I have skiied/stayed in Naeba. We stayed at the Prince hotel. You can take the Joetsu shinkansen from Tokyo to Echigo Yuzawa and from there we had prearranged for Prince hotel bus pick us up.
