St Maur International School Location

There is a possibility that we will be posted to Tokyo, and in my initial schools research I am quite drawn to St Maur. Having never been to Tokyo I have no real feel for locations and distances. Can someone please tell me approximately how far (driving time?) Yokohama is from Tokyo. Also, do expat families who send their children to St Maur tend to live in Yokohama and commute into Tokyo city for work, or live in Tokyo and drive their children out to Yokohama for school? Grateful for any advice on this or other schools.

I doubt you will be driving. Trains are very efficient and cheap. Lots of Japanese commute from Yokohama to Tokyo each day for work. If I remember correctly the commute is about an hour (tops).

If the school is in Yokohama can I suggest you live there so your kids dont have to commute.
