I understand there is a Costco in Tokyo. Do they deleiver? How far is it located from the Azabu area? Is it convenient to get to? Any comments about general shop***g for food and other items along with items for babies les than 1 year old. Moving to Tokyo soon.
Costco isn’t convenient. You would need a car to use it for regular shopping or one off big shopping hits. You don’t want to be lugging stuff on trains and taxi would become expensive.
Aka-chun Honpo is a chain for children toys, clothes etc. Great value store. Much better priced than equivalents in Oz. They are quite a few of them. A web search or a Japanese friend should be able to give you an idea where one is. Otherwise I can give you detailed instructions on how to get to the one we used (which is near a Toys R Us to boot).
