How easy is it to get a helper in Tokyo? Are there the same rules and regs as in HK? How about minimum salaries and hours worked? Any help would be welcomed.
Thanks in advance
It's easy-peasy-Japanesey to get helpers in Tokyo. There are domestic help notices advertised on the TAC (Tokyo American Club) Board (there's heaps there at the moment and some that read really well. I think they also advertise in The Metropolis Magazine which is a free expat mag. that comes out every Friday. The going rate for a helper (cooking, cleaning, babysitting and whatever else is 1500yen per hour plus 500yen for travel. Sorry I can't answer in comparison to HK (have never lived there so don't know how it works).
