do i need a doctor

i am going through the public system to ahve my baby but everyone keeps saying to me "oh who is your doctor"...i am slightly confued...do i need a separate doctor?

no, you don't... .the people you've been talking to are going private.
you DO NOT get an assigned doctor when you go public.

your answer should be "we've chosen to make use of the more than adequate public facilities."
