Linea Negra after birth

How long does it take approximately for the linea negra line to fade post delivery? Or does it never go away? I didn't get the line with my first pregnancy but after this second birth, I still have it after 3 weeks. What has been your experience?

Depends on your coloration, and it varies by individual. It can take months.

Mine hadn't completely gone away even after 6 or 7mths post partum! I then got pregnant with #2 so don't know how long it would have taken to naturally fade. I did find that after a shower, while my belly was still wet, I could rub parts of it off - sounds weird but it helped it fade a little faster...
