I am looking for an IT whiz who can come to my apartment and connect internet, apple wireless, apple TV, kids computers, a network printer etc. Someone with IT background.

Sorry to answer a question with more questions but here goes:
- Is nothing at all in place currently?
- How many computers total and what kind?
- Do you have a wireless router now?
- How much would you be willing to pay?
- Would you need after sales support or would hit and run be ok?

We currently have our main PC desktop computer set up but we also have 2 apple lap tops (and are about to buy another small computer for my son) which we need connected wirelessly. We have all of the hardware (routers etc) that was used for this purpose when we lived in Tokyo. We also have Apple TV which we need connected and a new printer/fax that needs to be networked to all computers.
Rates? What do you charge?
After sales support is not essential but we would like to also find someone who can come when/if we have later problems.
We are on the South side.

I don't have a lot of Apple experience, but I'm fairly certain I have the expertise required. I've never really consulted on this "home" stuff before though. I don't have any rate schedule or anything. ;) If you really can't find anyone, pm me and we can maybe work something out. But I'm not in business doing this so I can offer no references and support would be very much on an ad hoc basis.

I am also looking for a computer-literate person to come to my home and help me un-do whatever I have done to mess up my wireless connection! I think it's all to do with profiles and firewalls but I really don't know what I am doing. Is anyone out there who could help?
