Angkor Wat, Siem Reap

I'm sorry if this has already been done but has any families kids included, 7 being the youngest, been to Cambodia? I thought I had seen a hotel/resort with a golf course a while ago. Mind you I could be very wrong. Hubbies want to play golf but also want for kids as well.

I can't imagine choosing to golf in Siem Reap. It's simply not what people go there for. Are you familiar with the weather? And the local hospital has a sign out front that blood donations are urgently needed due to dengue hemmorhagaeic fever. Age 7 is a bit young to enjoy the wats, as well. Perhaps a vacation at Kota Kinabalu is more what you have in mind.

Kids under 7 - some of the temples would be very dangerous for younger kids. eg Beng Melea - you want to climb around to get a good feel but may be tough with kids. eg Angkor Wat - stairs are very steep and narrow, and only one set has railings.

Golf - not too popular in Siem Reap.
