Posted by hayleyhardy (324 days ago)
Does anyone know where I could find Phyto Hair products in Honk Kong (if anywhere)?
Thanks for the help!

hayley,
The studio I am currently freelancing out of carries Phyto...great products, I was exclusive with them in the US and the technology behind their brand is top notch. The guys who own O2 are, unfortunately fazing it out because of distribution issues, so they have it at 50% off . Go take a look...by the way I am 'freelance' folks I get nothing out of the recommendation, just to head things off in case you were skeptical. Hope they have what you want.
I have also seen it in the usual diversion places such as Mannings, Sasha, etc...the one below World Wide House usually has a bit as well...cheers

Thanks Aimee and Douglas. Really appreciate the help.
To be honest Douglas, I have never used them before but they caught my attention as they have a beach spray for sun, sea and poolwater, and I desperately need something like that because my hair mats when I snorkel and dive. Where is the salon that you mentioned, exactly?
Thanks again for your help.
All the best.

HH,
its at 38 Wyndham street level, can't miss it. Say hello if you come by and I will see if I can match you up with what they have. I will actually call them and tell them to hold the Anti-Aging Shampoo for you...best I have ever used in HK. The name is awful but it works wonderfully as it is vitamin fortified ...I am in and out but ask the girls and they can find me to say hi. I am not sure what they have left but if I can see your hair I will keep my eyes out in the other stores for you as well...cheers

You are so sweet...thank you! That sounds good. I am sorry to ask but do you know what products like that usually sell for? I hate to ask, but don't want to get a shock at the counter and feel obliged to follow through with the purchase (my poor husband! Hehe).
I really really appreciate your kindness.

hi hayleyhardy
Phyto is expensive: usually around $100-200 per item. I used it for a while and must admit I like it, if you are about to buy at sale price, make sure its not out of date.
Doug-lass is sweet isnt he!!!!

HH,
The price is usually around 150 or so but they are closing out they said so they put everything at 50% off. I bought the Anti-aging and it was I believe 70 or so. I have worked with these guys for years they are worth every penny. Here is the web site so you can read up....http://www.phyto.com/ ....nice thing about this line is that it really is organically based....cheers
As for the above comment on Expired product...expired product is a real issue when buying from diverter. However this only applies to organically based products usually as the shelf life on non-organic is extremely long except when dealing with certain proteins and fatty acids. Phyto has a very tight and unique distribution base so you even if diverted at a wholesaler they are fresher than others because they do not warehouse heavily....see you soon, cheers. As for salon products it is a non-issue as with the price range and stocking issue salons rarely order more than a dozen at a time and the Phyto Rep returns anything that is even remotely questionable...cheers

Douglas, I went to O2 this afternoon but I believe it is your day off - sorry I missed you. I got the beach spray, which I am very happy about, but they didn't have any Anti-Ageing shampoo, but they were apparently out. I did mention that you may have put one aside for me, but they didn't seem to know about that. No worries at all though, because I got the shampoo for dry hair, and I will let you know how that works for me!
Thanks once again for your time in helping me out.

Hi crystal88
Yes the Phyto stuff is 50%off. Shampoo was marked down to $60. There wasn't too much left so best you hurry down there if you need to get something.
Good luck!

Hi Douglas
I am assuming the above message was for me? I live on Lantau, so am not around town much, but I do have some things to get done, which I might do today, if time allows. Thanks again.
