Black hair products and haircare

Hi there,

Please help! I am mixed race and have afro hair. I am desperate for a hair cut, I wondering if anyone knows of a good hairdresser who has some experience with 'black hair'. Also is there anywhere you can buy black hair products!?

Any advice would be great!

there are several supply stores in TST area that may have some of your products but they are probably not up to date I would try buying on line as there is not much need for that type of product here so they do not stock much. Its hard for me to recommend on the cut wihtout seeing the actual texture but I am still around this week if you want to stop by and I will take a look and try to find you someone...cheers

Hi, just as another option we have 3 stylists at The Hairdressers experienced with afro hair, Trang, Bach and Chris. Unfortunately we dont have afro specific products but they have had success with their existing afro hair clients. As usual I would suggest you go and have a few consultations to find someone you are comfortable with.
Over in TST at Chung King Mansion i believe they sometimes have people doing afro hair to so it might be worth taking a look.
