Hi, I've dyed my hair the wrong colour and I wonder if any of the hairdressers out there can give me some advice. I normally dye it red (at home) but stupidly went for a darker colour. My hair is now very dark (to me) at the ends and I don't think it suits me. What can I do? I have thought about going to a hairdresser to get some highlights to lighten the whole thing up, but will that work? I have long hair and lots of it and its thankfully very strong. How much would a colour correction cost me? Is there anything I can do at home to fade the colour (I know reds fade fast). A hairdresser once told me to wsh my hair with washing up detergent to strip the colour and another told me to use Head and Shoulders . Any suggestions greatly received.
I would say you better wait for few months because your hair need a rest. To maintain your hair as a healthy condition: i.e. Silky Hair... you shouldn't frequently put a lot of chemical things on your hair. Do you understand?
My daughter recently done the same thing in the UK, unfortunately with an allergic reaction thrown in, the phoned a hairdresser who also told her to use washing up liquid,
SP....not an issue. PLEASE....no shampooing or detergent though!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am around this week so give me a call and I will look at it for you, I have yet to find a case that could not be repaired within reason. Our main focus will be to keep the condition, thats easy with the corrective products out today. But please do not try on your own it will only make matters worse. I promise you its an easy fix and will feel great...if budget is an issue no worry I just want to get it fixed for you. My number is on the site to the left...Hair Questions. Cheers
